Hello, I'm Alisa! I finished University in 2019 where I graduated from a Dance and PE degree with a first. Having worked in childcare for 6-7 years, I am extremely passionate about making a positive and lasting impact on young people's lives. I am an energetic, enthusiastic and sporty person and have experience in teaching many sports. I have a clean enhanced DBS. My most recent role involved working as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
My Experience
I have four years experience working in a primary school breakfast club and after school club providing childcare for 4-11 year olds. Additionally, I have worked over the summer holidays planning and leading activities. I have also completed placements with primary, secondary and SEN pupils. When I was not studying, I have also coached synchronised swimming, gymnastics and cheerleading and have also competed in these sports, receiving 3 national titles in cheer and became senior county champion twice in synchronised swimming. I have worked in a primary school with children aged 4-11 also supporting in special educational needs and previously I have been a nanny to 3 children (aged 6,9 and 11).
My Qualifications
- Trained in Paediatric First Aid and currently hold FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football.
- Attended childcare courses such as "supporting positive behaviour" and "basic awareness of child protection" through SCIL.
- Sporting qualifications (Basketball, Handball, Tennis, Athletics, Rounders and Frisbee)
- Primary based CPD: Good education in Autism, Anxiety training, Epipen training, Diabetes Type 1 training, Bullying awareness course, Dyslexia training.
-Currently enrolled in a level 1 & 2 British Sign Language Course
