Hello, my name is Elise. I am an 22 year old experienced babysitter and private tutor based in Sevenoaks.
My Experience
Tutoring:
I worked as a tutor for MySpaceKids London for 4 years, and averaged a 2 grade boundary increase. I tutor ages 5 to 18, and specialise in English, but I tutor a range of subjects. I can provide support to primary school children and those requiring homework help, as well as students working towards 11+, GCSEs, and A-Level exams. I have experience tutoring a range of subjects at GCSE, so please message me and we can discuss (I have particular familiarity with certain exam boards). At A-Level I only tutor English. I have an English Literature degree from the University of York and a master's from the University of Warwick.
I am enthusiastic and positive, and consider boosting your child's confidence in their own ability my aim as well as improving their grades. For all my tutoring I will provide textbooks to use during the session. I am able to tutor from my home based in Sevenoaks, or can travel to you.
Babysitting:
I have babysat from the age of 14. I am responsible, experienced and friendly, and I am passionate about children as the future generation. I am enthusiastic and would happily entertain them for hours! I love art, drama and reading and hope to encourage children to be passionate about these activities as well. I am comfortable with children of all ages and happy to babysit up to three children. I looked after 12 children for 3 months in a Camp America program, and have worked locally at Barracudas. I have also babysat families with pets and helped with feeding, which I am happy to do! I available from 6pm during the week and on weekends. I have an extended DBS check, registered with the update service. I am happy to meet you before you decide to employ me, and pride myself on my reliability.
Pet-sitting:
I have experience cat-sitting (and have two beautiful cats myself), and I love all animals. Please reach out if yours need looking after!
My Qualifications
I have 12 GCSE's, 3 A-Levels, a degree from the University of York in English and a master's from the University of Warwick.
