My Experience
June 2023 to February 2024 : SEND Admin Assistant
As a SEND Administrator, I provided administrative support to the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and the wider SEND team. Other duties included maintaining accurate records of students with special educational needs and disabilities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures. I assisted the coordination of assessments, meetings, and reviews for students with SEND, liaising with parents, teachers, external agencies, and other stakeholders as necessary. Additionally, I was responsible for managing documentation, correspondence, and communication-related to SEND provision, while supporting the implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP's) and other interventions to support student progress and inclusion. My role as SEND administrator was integral to the smooth functioning of the SEND department and the provision of high-quality support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
