About Me

Hi, I’m Cat and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Delph, Oldham. I have a certificate in paediatric first aid and my latest training was in June 2019. I also have training in safeguarding and early years, alongside other regular training to continuously improve my childcare provision. I am a mum to 2 little boys and a baby girl, we love keeping busy and being outdoors as much as possible. We share our home with a variety of animals including chickens, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, geckos and fish - the children I look after love to help care for them all! I offer a loving, caring, happy and nurturing environment for your children and will provide a stimulating, educational and fun home for them to spend their days.

My Experience

As well as caring for my own children, I have been an early years teacher for 10 years. Before that I worked as a nanny in New Zealand in France, caring for children from birth to 13. I have worked during 2 summers at camps in the USA including camps for those children and adults with additional needs. I have also spent a summer tutoring children aged 3-10 in the Caribbean.

My Qualifications

I am an Ofsted registered and qualified childminder. I am a qualified teacher, with a PGCE. I have taught for 10 years in nursery, reception and year 1. Before my teaching career, I gained a BSc degree in psychology with child language development.

My Availability

My working hours are from 7:45am-5pm weekdays.
