My 4 year old son is autistic and has a speech delay, he is a creative and smart little boy who sees the world and communicates differently. Our approach as a family is to keep demands low and be extremely flexible to his needs.
I am full time caring for my son as he still hasn’t settled at nursery. He has anxiety about being away from me.
I’m looking for a nanny preferably with ASD experience to spend time with my son a few hours a week, get to know him and gain his trust. The aim being that I’d be able to do some work in a separate room while he’s happy playing with them and depending how things go, that I’d be able to leave the flat for a few hours while he’s happily cared for.
We’re based in the West End of Glasgow.
