My Summary
Experienced Early Years Nanny In Sheffield | 19 Years’ Professional Childcare Experience
About Me
Hello, I’m Emma — a highly experienced and qualified early years nanny based in Sheffield.
With nearly 20 years of professional experience working with children, I specialise in providing calm, structured, and nurturing care within the home environment. I am particularly passionate about supporting children in their early years, helping to build confidence, independence, language development, and a strong foundation for learning through play and consistent routines.
I approach nannying as a professional role and value clear communication, reliability, and strong partnership with parents to ensure children feel secure and families feel supported.
What I Offer:
Part-time, live-out nanny care within your home
Consistent, structured daily routines
Developmentally supportive activities tailored to each child
Early learning and language development through play
Calm, attentive supervision
Clear and open communication with parents
My Experience
I have worked across a wide range of childcare settings, including schools, after-school clubs, and private family homes. Since 2019, I have also worked alongside an Ofsted-registered childminder, supporting the care of children under five within a home-based setting.
I have been working with children in both professional and personal capacities for nearly two decades. This has given me extensive hands-on experience across different environments and age groups.
While my primary experience has been with children from around 8 months to 11 years, I have predominantly worked within the early years and primary age range. I also have experience supporting children with additional needs, adapting my approach to ensure inclusive, attentive, and individualised care.
