About Me
I have worked in childcare for 10+ years and have a degree in Drama with film. I am currently looking for part time work over the summer.
I adore animals, the outdoors and theatre. I have grown up in a family of 6 so I am used to a busy household and I thoroughly enjoy being part of a big family. I spent five years of my younger years (8-13) living in Spain, which was an incredibly enriching experience and opened me up to different a way of living.
Before attending university, I lived in London attending acting classes, working as an actress and a nanny to two beautiful children named Martha and Max.
I have a real enthusiasm for life and I like to bring this energy when I'm working with children.
My Experience
Since the age of 16 I have been looking after children. I babysat for a headmaster and his wife for two years for girls ages 6 and 9. I then went on to taking care of a girl with severe autism twice a week for a year - this would include taking her on day trips, accompanying her during class time, feeding her and having fun!
I looked after Martha full time for over two years from when she was eleven months old until she was three years old.
I would feed, bath her, play games, sing, put her to bed, I was there when she made her first steps, changed her nappies, took care of her when she was ill, I would take her on day trips to the farm, children’s theatre, playground etc.
I would stay overnight a couple nights a month as her parents are doctors and would both be required to work night shifts.
I also looked after her brother Max aged 4-6. I would collect and take him to nursery, when he was older I would do drop off and pick up from school then take care of him and his sister in the evening.
I looked after a little girl aged two called Sadie once/twice a week for 6 months.
While studying at university I looked after a little girl and boy aged six and nine after school and for full days during the holidays in Ascot for a year and a half.

I looked after two boys ages seven and eight. One had sensory issues therefore setting boundaries and routine played a big role in their day to day life.
My Qualifications
I have a qualification with 'babyem' in common core skills which include:
Child and young person development.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child.
Supporting transitions.
Multi-agency working.
Sharing information.
First (Honours) Degree in Drama with Film.
My Availability
I am available Friday afternoons, week day evenings and weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.50 per hour
- Nannying from £14.50 per hour (gross)
My fees reflect my experience and qualifications. I also charge an additional £5 per child if under five years old.
