Hello, my name is Sophie and I am 23 years old. I live in Knightswood, Glasgow and I can commute. I currently obtain HNC Childhold Practice & HND Additional Support Needs, which has followed with over a years experience in placement within nursery’s. I currently attend Glasgow Caledonian University studying Social Work and looking for more experience to advance my skills. My SSSC and PVG are all up to date.
During summer I’ll be fully available as term time for university has ended.
My Experience
I am 1 of 14 children and I’m the 2nd oldest I am very aware, experienced and mindful of children. I am super keen on looking after children and developing their education further.
I am a huge believer that free play and social interactions are key to a child’s development and will ensure the child is reaching their milestones in their own way not over stretching their boundaries and capabilities.
I also have a younger sister who seeks additional support to help promote her coping mechanism with ADHD. I attend mentoring sessions with my sister such as CAMHS - giving myself an understating and experience in order to co operate correctly and give my sister an opportunity to express her opinion and meet her needs.
