About Me
We are a family of 4. My nearly 5 year old boy will be starting year 1 from September, while his 2 year old brother is in full time nursery.
My Requirements
**From August 12 or 19th**
We are looking for a live out nanny that can support us with nannying, cooking and housekeeping.
We would need the following hours: after school Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30/7pm (20-25h); sick days or holidays 8:30/6:3pm (~6 weeks of holidays of 50h/ week)
We can also make the following hours available if extra hours desired: Cleaning Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday 10h
Pre-school morning 8-9am on 3days (eg the cleaning days); Occasional babysitting (evenings or weekends).
We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic nanny who also sets clear, patient boundaries. Someone who is empathic, competent, energised and reliable and wants to stay with the family for some years. We love spending time outdoors, socialising and limit screen time. We eat natural food and limit sugar intake.
Core Afternoon Duties:
2-3pm start to cook healthy meals for the children/ family (recipes and ingredients will be provided)
3:30 School pick up for older son
Take him to the park/playground for up to 1h
4-4:30 Jointly pick up the younger brother from nursery
Play at home and Dinner with both boys at 5:30. You can eat with them if you like.
One or both parents will join around 6/6:30pm which will give you time to tidy up (kitchen and toys), prep the nursery and school bags for the next day.
Spare time should be used to tidy up toys and stay on top of an orderly play environment. You should encourage the boys the tidy up after their play but occasionally everything just needs a good sort out and tidy up.
Hours can be extended to include light housework, laundry or gardening, if you are open to these. Hours can also be extended to include 1h of morning routine support, if you live locally and wish to add more hours but it’s not a must requirement for us.
A German speaker would be a bonus but not essential. Formal childcare training preferred.
Parents may be working from home in loft.
Non-smoking environment at all times. We expect minimum/ no mobile phone usage during nannying hours (photos of kids activities ok or to make important phone calls).
