My name is Marcela, and I'm a highly experienced and dedicated professional nanny with a passion for education and child development. I hold a Harvard certificate in Early Childhood Development: Global Strategies for Implementation, as well as studying Philosophy with a focus on education. In addition, I bring a background in graphic arts and Drama to the role of a nanny. My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, while promoting creativity, cognitive development, self-confidence, and positive behavior.

I bring over five years of experience working with children, plus my previous role as a supervisor and creator of children's activities at museums in São Paulo. I strongly believe that childhood is a critical stage in brain development and that the presence of positive role models is essential to shaping a child's future. As a result, I strive to create a fun and engaging atmosphere that encourages children to explore new challenges, form positive relationships with others, and build self-confidence.

I'm a hands-on, energetic, and creative nanny who enjoys taking children on outdoor adventures and participating in community activities, such as gardening, messy play, music, swimming, and story time. I believe in the importance of socialization, and I make a point of organizing playdates and other opportunities for children to interact with their peers. I'm also well-versed in healthy meal preparation and have a love for making fun and delicious recipes with children.

My services include, but are not limited to, preschool activities, managing the children's schedule, dressing and bathing, placing the children for naps and bedtime, potty training, supervising their activities, and picking them up from school or classes. My mother tongue is Portuguese, and I am also fluent in English and Italian.

As a dedicated professional in the field of child development, I'm developing a personal blog where I offer insights and advice on best practices for both educators and parents. Through my writing, I aim to share my passion for this subject and provide valuable resources for those looking to support children's growth and well-being

IMPORTANT: I have extensive experience working with multiple children at the same time, and I'm confident in my ability to provide excellent care. However, at the moment, I'm not accepting jobs where I need to care for more than two kids.
