Hello! I am an experienced tutor that has experience with online and in-person education. I initially started as a class assistant with Kumon helping children aged 4-16, and have since moved to private tutoring. I am passionate about children and their education; I believe in adapting to their needs to build confidence.
My Experience
I have tutored for the 11 plus in recent years with both students passing. I am tutoring students in years 8 and 10. I am an advocate of an engaged and active learning environment and aim to provide this for all my students. For example, when tutoring, I provide this by promoting active and honest communication through end-of-class reviews. When I babysit / nanny, I negotiate a timetable with the children and ensure to include active playtime such as dancing, arts and crafts, and reading time.
