About Me
Hey! I am a 23 year-old fine art graduate looking to offer childcare + ad-hoc babysitting and housework services to local families. I am currently unemployed and trying to explore my career options in the arts industry, which is of course taking some time and effort!
I am currently super flexible and looking for short and long term duties. Long term would be better to develop a reliable weekly routine for myself also.
I am a mature, friendly, and fun individual to have around, with strong common sense and knowledge of child safety and safeguarding principles. My creative background and experience with arts facilitation means I can offer lots of skills and creative ideas to help keep the time with your children fun and engaging (away from the TV and tablet!).
I enjoy lots of hobbies, including cooking, baking, arts & crafts, writing poetry, reading, visiting galleries, museums and events… all child-friendly things I could get them involved in!

I have a recent Enhanced DBS check with proof of certificate. I have also completed a Level 1 Safeguarding course.
I don’t drive. Non-smoker. Fully fluent in English.
My Experience
I have good experience of working with and overseeing groups of children between the ages of 4-12. I have worked on multiple public engagement programmes, including a ceramics club in Grove Park, and an arts club in Kilburn which were both setup for primary school children. I also have experience working with older children, after working on a collaborative programme in partnership with a local gallery and secondary school in south east London.
I helped to raise my niece since birth, right through her toddler stages, she is now 5 years old. I have a good sense of protection and coordination when it comes to looking after toddlers, how to keep them safe and engaged, how to feed them, change their nappies, dress them etc etc.
Aside from childcare, I’m also really experienced in domestic chores so can take on any extra hours for cleaning, ironing, food prep you need me to sort for you.

My Availability
Right now I’m currently fully flexible, so happy to discuss hours and build a weekly routine, if you’re looking for someone to take on a full-time week / more than just a couple days. Ideally looking for 3+ days / evenings where required but as i said, currently flexible.
Based in main Blackheath so able to travel to lots of areas in a short space of time with lots of travel links (Lewisham, Lee, Greenwich, New Cross, Charlton)
