My Summary

My Experience

I have years of experience in different nursery settings both in the UK and New Zealand spread from 2012-2023. During my time at these settings I have gained experience as a key worker with children from various backgrounds and religions. I have also worked closely with SEN children. I worked with various age groups from 4 month old babies to pre school aged children.

In Brighton, my most recent nursery setting adapted the curiosity approach, which encourages children to use natural objects in play. These objects allow the children to make choices about how to use them, which sparks their curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

In New Zealand I worked in an alpine environment caring for children aged 0-5 and teaching 3-5 year olds to ski. There were different children everyday, which was a refreshing challenge. This is when my experience and understanding played an important role in helping the children settle into an unfamiliar environment.

I have babysitting experience, helping out parents from the nursery settings.

I have been also been a Nanny to a number of different families who would be happy to provide references. Using my skills learnt in nursery settings and other workplaces to provide excellent nurturing care and education.

My Qualifications

RELEVANT CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION:

NVQ Level 3 diploma for early learning and childcare, Brighton, 2015.

Certificate in Paediatric First Aid, Brighton, 2019.

Certificates for short courses taken for personal development training in outdoor play and behaviour and development of babies, Brighton, 2012-2023.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma in Biomedicine at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, Brighton, 2020.

Accreditation in culinary nutrition at Leiths school of food and wine, London, 2018.
