About Me
I am an 11+ tutor/ primary school teacher who enjoys tutoring in my spare time. I teach all subjects at primary age level but have a particular focus in English and Maths as well as supporting children with 11 Plus entrance exams.
I have an amazing track record of successfully helping children obtain good progress each year by delivering impactful lessons. My nine year experience in education has led me to appreciate the importance of relating to children and personalising their learning in order to build their self-esteem to achieve. I teach pupils according to their needs and abilities as well as challenging them to reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have nine years experience in primary teaching. I am also the English Co-ordinator at my current primary school for EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2. My role as an English lead is to ensure that all children make good progress and have support in place if they are falling behind as well as supporting teachers with their ability and confidence to teach English.
I have also worked with children outside of school focusing on homework and providing support in areas they struggle with.
