About Me
Hi families, I'm Cat - an experienced Childcarer (17 years), Trainee Psychotherapist and Student. Experienced as a Teacher, Nursery Nurse, Youth Worker and Play Worker; I have a vast amount of experience.
I’m creative, enthusiastic and empathetic. I pride myself on my communication and people skills! Currently studying part-time and also work part-time; I am looking for a part-time casual role, or some ad-hoc babysitting. I look forward to hearing from you.
My Experience
I have plenty of experience working in a range of environments with children. These include school, nursery, holiday club and of course in their own homes as a OFSTED Registered Childcarer (Nanny). This includes working with children with a range of disabilities including Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy. References can be provided on request.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying my Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling, which I’m really enjoying.
Previously I have studied Counselling Skills for Working with Children, a PGCE in Secondary Education and BSc. Psychology. Many modules explored issues regarding children and Child Psychology, so I have a varied knowledge of children.
