My Experience

2006/2007 Work experience in two nursery’s. My main duties were to set up the nursery for the children’s day ahead. Prepare healthy snacks and take care of the children.

2012 Private childminder for a family friend for 2 years. I took care of the child from age 12 months until he had finished nursery.

2017/2018 Childminders assistant for 1 year. My duties here were to help my employer take care of around 5 children per day plus her own two children in her own home. Children aged from 12 months to 5 years. I would assist with meal times. Set up activities for the day and play with the children. Change nappies and helped potty train. Put the children down for their afternoon naps. I would also assist on days out to parks, museums and also do the school runs.
There were the odd occasion when the children’s parents would ask me to take care of the children in their own homes if my employer was unable to to work.

2020/2021 Private childminder for a baby girl. I looked after the little girl from age 9 months to 18months. While taking care of her I changed nappies, fed her breakfast and lunch. Put her down for her morning naps. I would take her out to trips to the park and helped her progress with her gross and fine motor skills.

2022-present day SEN classroom assistant.
My role includes assisting with class lessons, personal care and supervising at lunch. I also set up feeds for children that are gasto fed.
I am lucky enough to work with PmLd children and children with Autism and other additional special needs.
I have a current clear DBS certificate issued January 2022.
I can provide reliable and positive references if needed.
I had first aid training in 2018

My Qualifications

I have no childcare qualifications. But have a lot of hands on experience. Please see above :)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£5.00 per hour for day time childminding in child’s own home.
£10.00 per hour for evening babysitting.
