My Summary

My Experience

I have been employed as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in nurseries for the past five and a half years, first for two years in nurseries in London and then for the last three years in nurseries in Luton. During my time working in nurseries, I cared for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 4 years old, which I thoroughly enjoyed because caring for children has always been my passion.

Then, for 1 year and 7 months, I worked as a support worker in Luton, where I assisted two male clients with autism, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities. My responsibility was to administer medication, assist with personal care, plan activities that were appropriate for their needs, and ensure their safety was a priority.

With these experiences, I was motivated to pursue a higher degree in the field of children and adult work, so I am currently enrolled in university and pursuing a BA(Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies, which I will complete in July 2024. My long-term goal is to work as a Probation Officer after I graduate.

Currently studying a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies at university. I also, graduate in July 2024.
