Hello, my name is Madison-Lee, I am 28 years old and am a West End performer/Nanny!
I recently spent full time with 3 wonderful girls aged 3,2 and 3 months old. Working as there nanny/house keeper and mothers help. Unfortunately due to the current situation with covid-19 the family decided to quarantine with just their household for the foreseeable future. Leaving me available and searching for another fun, creative family to get to know and work with. I have listed information of the duties from my latest role and more in my CV attachment
I started my graduate career at Disney land Paris! Singing as ‘Rafiki’ and then very luckily progressed onto Heathers, Tony Blair Musical! And The Book of Mormon, West End.
As I approached the end of my 2nd year at ‘The Book of Mormon’ I made the decision that it will be my last, to leave and explore other avenues of work that I find fulfilling and enjoy.
My Experience
Before my creative journey began to unfold I was a sole charge nanny for two girls aged 5 and 7.
I was in charge of school/ after school club pick up and drop off, housekeeping duties, cooking nutritious dinners and packed lunches, assisting with homework, reading, plus full evening and bed time routine.
Throughout the summer while looking after the girls, I led extra educational and inspiring activities e.g. swimming, museums and talent shows! The girls and I created an amazing bond; I was very sad to leave them and am still in contact now.
Throughout my life my mother has been a certified early year’s provider/childminder, running her nursery from our home. When I became of age I quickly progressed into being her official Ofsted assistant, allowing me to learn in more depth about early year’s development and care in a professional EYFS led home.
I am active, confident and able to use my creative knowledge to think of stimulating activities to improve any child’s confidence and explore different ways to express oneself!
I love to implement music, movement and body awareness as a tool to increase each child’s development.
I am fully experienced in understanding young children at all different stages of their learning; their desires, behaviour and how important it is to implement a high level of discipline at all times.
I know everything about the importance of health and hygiene within a young person’s life and the importance of sticking to daily regimes, designed for each specific child’s needs and requirements. I am able to understand, listen and respond appropriately to children, even the ones unable to speak. I have had the honour of watching young children grow from 2 months into starting nursery aged 3 or 4 and am in contact with some of them still as they enter their teenage years. All this while working closely with the parents to ensure each child receives the utmost love, care, knowledge and protection. And most of all has fun!
