About Me
I am a 24-year-old teacher with a specialism in early years(ages 3-7). I am looking for the opportunity to provide childcare which can include fun activities that stimulate learning and imagination. I have good knowledge of the National Curriculum and classroom experience. I am currently looking for occasional or regular evening or weekend babysitting jobs to supplement my income as I move jobs.
My Experience
I have successfully planned and engaged children of a variety of ages, in whole class learning and small group work. I have previously worked for a holiday club where I worked with small groups of children providing care whilst parents worked. I have also previously worked in schools providing one-to-one support and engaging children with activities such as reading and phonics. My formal qualifications include an undergraduate degree and a post-graduate teaching qualification and 2 years of classroom experience, as well as an enhanced DBS check. I enjoy engaging with children through play, cooking, dance, arts and craft and other fun activities. I have completed extensive safeguarding training. I have also babysat and nannied for families during my studies.
