A highly experienced, private nanny with a primary teaching background and Masters level education.
I am a confident and unflappable child carer with significant experience of all aspects of childcare. When nannying, I recognise what works with raising and supporting children, and work hard to develop well rounded children, who are safe, happy, feel validated and nurtured. The quality of care I provide is exemplary - I will fully engage with your children, building trusting relationships, providing opportunities for physical, creative and educational play, alongside cooking fabulous meals and promoting varied conversations. I am equally able to support you, the parent, by being trustworthy, diligent, punctual and communicative.
My Experience
I have been a private nanny in a family with three school-aged children for over 2 years. The duties include managing the children’s normal day-to-day care including school collection, after-school club management, cooking, supervising meals, the bedtime routine, academic requirements, play and fun as well as setting up and maintaining good routines, boundaries and providing guidance for the parents when necessary.
I have extensive experience of teaching in a formal classroom setting, where I was exposed to many different personality types, learning profiles and parenting styles, and have also taken on significant sole-care responsibilities, including medical issues and overnight duties.
In addition, I can provide tutoring to KS1, KS2 and KS3 children on a sole-charge capacity, including those with learning difficulties, ADHD, supporting those who find themselves working below national expectations and providing stretch and depth for those above, including for the 11+. Secondary tutoring includes homework support and exam preparation. Separate references are available on request.
