My name is Federica, I am a very active and positive person. I have a great passion for sports and I believe sports deeply benefit children and grown ups in many kind of ways.I am an ex gymnast; I now practice capoeira and basketball but I like any kind of sport. I love exploring different parts of the city and always have activity planned to benefit both my physical and mental health. I am deeply passionate about nature and all the animals living within; documentaries are my favourite thing to watch. In my spare time I love being creative and do art and craft.
I am a nurturing and caring individual bringing a lot of joy and energy to everything I do. I am organised and creative. I use a lot of creative activities to allow your kids to develop mentally and physically. Surely will make your kids life active adding to their daily life a lot of sport, fun and educational activities.
My Experience
Currently working in sales ( I know a completely different field) trying to take my career on a different path and I thought I would still want to work with kids in my spare time- the job I do best! :)
I worked as a support worker for a child with cerebral palsy helping him with his therapies and his day schedule.
I gained wide experience working as second in charge in a nursery setting with children aged 6 months to 4 years old.
My main duties were to carrying out an effective daily routine for the kids who lost helping them becoming more independent. I was also in charge to set up games and activities as to help the children with their developmental stages whilst having fun.
Parents from the nursery often needed extra babysitting after school and during the evenings so I often did babysitting. That would include help with homework, cooking and bedtime routines.
During my time at the Little Gym I gained wide experience working with infants and toddlers (4 months to 4 years) as well as children aged 5 to 12 years. The gym is specialised in delivering classes that use basic gymnastic movements in combination with music and imagination leading not only to physical improvement but as well towards emotional, cognitive and social development of the child. I am in fact deeply passionate about children development and how physical activity can contribute to reach their full potential. During summer we host camps where we look after children aged 3+ for the whole day allowing them to practice physical activity as well as art and craft activities.
My experience as a nanny within the home context was with a lovely family. I was looking after two amazing sisters, one aged 8 months and one 2 years and a half. My duties included making sure to set a routine for the kids as well as preparing meals. Not to forget the recreational and educative side of the day; i prepared daily activities to keep them entrained while learning new skills. I had a wonderful time working with them.

Bachelor Degree in Education and Social Science with Physical and Sport Education.
