About Me
I love my role as a Mum and am very hands-on, but because my partner is away a lot and has a heavy work load, and because we have my children’s step brother and sister with us for 40% of the time, I seek some help! Before dedicating my time to my family I worked for a charity which promoted social mobility through education, and before that I was in academia. I enjoy cooking, I am musical, I love the countryside and I read lots and lots to the children and do all the voices :-) We are a close family and hope that someone will really enjoy joining our household. We think that the position we advertise will suit someone who doesn't necessarily have lots of nanny experience.
My Requirements
We seek a full-time, live-in nanny (or Mother’s Help) to join our household, preferably French native although we will consider other applicants. The position suits someone with some au pair experience who is ready to take on a bigger role in childcare. I have an 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son with my partner and he has 2 other young children, ages 7 and 9, who are with us 40% all the time. We travel frequently in school holidays so are looking for someone who will enjoy moving around (mainly to Jersey and Switzerland). We provide separate accommodation for our nanny so we all get some privacy! We offer a competitive salary and full term contract. Ideally our new nanny will stay with us for a few years.
