Hi there!
My name is Lauren and I am 26 years old. I currently work in a local primary school, where I am in the process of training to become a fully Qualified teacher. At this moment, I am on maternity leave, planning to return to work at the beginning of March 2023. However, I plan on returning to my primary school job part time, with an additional role as a part time nanny (either at my home or at yours) with the hope of bringing my little boy with me (he will be 9 months when I return in March). I have experience of working with, and looking after children of all ages, including babies and toddlers, ensuring that they have a fun, well cared for experience when in my care with lots of messy, explorative activities planned that will enhance their development. I aim to provide a home from home feeling for any child I look after as I know how precious our little ones are to us!
I would be willing to start a part time nannying role earlier than March if required. At this moment in time, I could also help out on Saturdays as I have childcare for my son on this day and odd days during the week.

My Experience
September will be the start of my 5th year of working in a local primary school. I have had my own class in years 1, 3 and 4, as well as working in every other year group ranging from year reception to year 6, teaching and covering classes. Additionally, I have several families who I help out with childcare, in their own home, during the holidays and on occasion, weekends and evenings. I recently gave birth to a beautiful little boy so have recent experience with young babies, the good, the bad and the messy!
My Qualifications
10 x GCSE’s ranging from A* - C
Level 3 extended diploma in Health and Social care
Foundation degree in children’s Learning and Development
Bachelors degree in children’s learning and development.
My Availability
2 days per week, more days during school holidays if required!
