Hi, I am Jo of “Mia-Kats /The Wynyard Nanny.
I’m offering child/babysitting on evenings/daytimes in your home. Nanny/Babysitting, not childminding at the moment.
“EARLY FLYER SATURDAYS”
A Saturday evening 7pm until 10pm just £20 plus mileage fee.
I offer care for children of all ages and also Sen children within their own homes. I am also a massive animal lover so I will always take care of any pets while I’m with you.
I have personal experience of visually impaired, physically disabled, PEG feeding and severe autism so can relate with parents who need help with childcare but find it difficult to use a childminder or nursery.
I am fully committed to the children I care for and support their development ( EYFS ) so that they can reach their full potential at the same time as having fun.
As a grandparent to a disabled child I know that nobody can just step in despite having experience but instead need to learn and take time to get to know your child and yourself to create a supportive and positive relationship.
My Experience
Family commitments have made me come to the decision that going forward I am going to work as a nanny/babysitter. Not childminder.
I have a severely disabled granddaughter and so spending time home schooling.
I am still registered with Ofsted, insured by Pacey Professional and hold a full DBS plus on the Update service.
I still complete refresher Paediatric first aid and comply with Safeguarding and EYFS.
Until very recently I was registered as an Ofsted Childminder with “Good” judgement from Ofsted. I previously ran a childcare business before moving here and starting
“ Mia-Kats Childcare/The Wynyard Nanny “ for well over 10 years caring for children and babies in Billingham. The childcare business was called “ LC Childcare”
Mia-Kats Childcare has been running since June 2021 and has become a loved small setting which offers total inclusivity and individual care.
I hold a level 3 in Childcare plus I have newborn experience. I also have Level 4 Send, lots of experience with children on the autism spectrum, Safeguarding, Paediatric First aid and full DBS. EYFS and tracking/Observations. My qualifications can be seen on meeting.
