My Requirements

After School Childcare in Herne Hill/North Dulwich
Starting March 2024

We are a young family with a happy and energetic 3.5-year-old boy named Gael. We are looking for someone to care for and support Gael after school (Judith Kerr Primary School in Herne Hill) 3-5 days per week during term time only, from collection time at 3.20pm until we get home from work at 6.30pm.

Tasks:
- Collecting Gael from Judith Kerr Primary School in Herne Hill at 3.20pm
- Taking him to local clubs and activities after school
- Playing and doing creative activities with Gael at home (a 5-minute walk from the school)
- Helping to support his learning
- Preparing and serving simple evening meals
- Other occasional family errands

Hours:
Approximately 3.15—6.30pm for 3-5 afternoons per week during term time only. There is also the possibility of ad hoc work during the holidays and occasional baby-sitting, but that’s not essential.

Who:
We are looking for someone who is warm, kind, patient, and reliable to support our family for the long term. We both work in the arts and Gael is very creative, so someone who could support this interest would be great. Gael’s mother is from Barcelona and he speaks both English and Catalan, meaning that a Catalan or Spanish speaker would also be a plus, though not essential.
