About Us
Bee in the Woods Kindergarten Portslade is an outdoor nursery based in woodland in North Portslade. Our magical camp is brimming with dens, mud kitchen, swings, gardens, tree houses and wildlife and provides the perfect early years environment for children to play, explore, make friends and develop confidence & resilience.
We spend all day playing and learning in our amazing outdoor environment, where children are given the freedom to explore and investigate the natural world around them in safety. Our camp is enclosed within an allotment site and high ratio's are maintained at all times.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £45.00 per day
Sessions at our pre-school are available as full days only. We recommend a minimum attendance of 2 days per week.
Full Day. 9.30am-3.30pm – Fees include healthy vegetarian snacks, drinks, enrichment activities delivered by qualified teachers & Forest School practitioners and trips to the beach, farms, museums, libraries etc..
Non-Funded Fee - £51 for 6 hour session (38 weeks a year/term-time only)
Part Funded Space - (EYFE Funding for 5 hours a day/38 weeks a year) - £22 a day
Fully Funded Space - 9.30am-2.30pm. (A limited number of completely free spaces available) - £0
Early Bird Breakfast (optional) ?8.30-9.30am? - ?Join us early. Healthy breakfast provided. Fee - £8.50
Bee Wild Holiday Club Tues-Thurs (Every school holiday (closed Christmas week)) 9am-3.30pm Fee - £44 per day
Forest Bee Homeschool Groups - Mon, Thurs & Fri. Ages 5-9. Fee - £48 per full day
