About Me
I am an extremely creative, energetic, and compassionate individual and I love working with children. I have meticulous organizational skills and patient nature and am able to create a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and develop. I am very flexible and happy to adapt to any routines already in place for the children.
Alongside my childcare work, I am an actress, therefore lots of my work with children has been in a performing arts context whether that be entertaining or teaching. In a Nannying context, I can utilize my transferable skills from my acting career such as my intuition, communication, and imagination to stimulate and engage children while they are in my care.
I am also a confident driver and would be happy to do school pick up/drop off and plan fun days out. Additionally, I’m handy in the kitchen so would be able to make a range of healthy nutritious food.
My Experience
I have a Nannied for an 11month old boy for four months, during this time I fed him, changed him, put him down for naps, and took him out for daily walks and activities. Additionally, I have nannied for two sisters aged 2 and 5 over the holidays.
I have previously worked as a teaching assistant and have experience working with both Reception and Year 2 classes.
I have worked with children in a range of different contexts. I am a Princess Party Entertainer on the weekends, where I perform and facilitate games and entertainment at events for children aged around 2-10yrs old.
I have taught both LAMDA and Performing Arts to children for a number of years including working for Perform drama school and currently cover movement and music classes for 0-5yr olds at the Redbridge Drama Centre.
My Qualifications
I do not have any formal qualifications currently however I am also more than happy to take a course if a family would like me to. Through my work with Protocol Education, I have undertaken a safeguarding training course and
- Level 3 paediatric first aid course - taken in 20/10/22 valid for 3 yrs.

- BA Hons Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Warwick - As part of my dissertation, I facilitated drama workshops with 10-14-year-olds in a youth group setting with the aim of improving their concentration and teamwork skills.
My Availability
I am currently available for nannying or babysitting before school, mornings and afternoons Mon - Friday and around afterschool and for school collection 3 days a week, flexible of which days.

Sarah looked for our 1-year-old son during the day, and the help she provided was excellent. She is passionate about working with kids, and does it with a lot of energy and positive vibe. Sarah was able to change activities so that our son never appeared bored (not easy!!). We definitely felt with her our son is in safe hands. Sarah is organized, and was able to perfectly follow an established routine, i.e. naps, meals, snacks, which makes everything easier when it comes to kids of that age.
She is also very punctual, polite, and, in general, a nice person.
