I grew up in a big family full of cousins and siblings—being the oldest meant I was always the go-to person for playful and fun times! I love plants, cosy tea moments, drawing, colouring, and watching movies (especially animations—The Emperor’s New Groove is a favourite). Oh, and I love sailing too!

My Experience
Caring for little ones has always come naturally to me! I’ve been involved in childcare from a young age, starting with helping care for my baby brother.
Later, I had the joy of looking after a sweet girl on the autism spectrum, from infancy for a couple of years.
More recently, I cared for two lovely siblings (18 months and 4 years old) for nearly two years, followed by a fun-loving 4-year-old boy: Picking up from nursery/school, helping with the evening routine, bath time, getting everyone cozy in their pyjamas, settling them into bed — always making time for gentle play and lots of smiles along the way.
I’m warm, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I'm happy to provide a reference letter upon request — feel free to reach out for a chat!
My Qualifications
Hello again! I am a caring, responsible, and experienced babysitter with a strong background in science and child-friendly patience. I am fluent in English, a native Portuguese speaker, and have basic proficiency in Spanish and Italian, making me adaptable to multilingual households.
I hold a First-Class Honours BSc in Biomedical Sciences and a MSc & PhD in Neurosciences, which have given me a deep understanding of child development, health, and safety.
I'm now studying for a level 2 of 'Understanding Autism', as I'm deeply interested in mental health, and this will help even more with special care.
Known for being patient, friendly, and always with a smile, I create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe and happy. I assure that they will find a friend in me.
