About Me
Hi , My name is Seema and I am based in chelmsford but happy to travel. I have 28 years teaching experience in both private and public sector teaching KS1 and KS2. I have extensive experience working in schools with children that have special education needs varying from behaviour problems, concentration to difficulty accessing the curriculum. I enjoy tailoring my teaching to the interests of my students. I have worked with many children have anxiety around school and have successfully taken small steps with them to get them back learning and thriving. I think I covered that!!!!! I have 2 children and my step son , age 13, age 15 and age 17 so completely understand the pressures on children as well as parents!!
My Qualifications
I have an up to date DBS check
I have a degree in child psychology ( Brunel university- 2:1)
PGCE - post graduate certificate in Education
I have long term experience working in state, public and SEN schools and have been tutoring one to one for 4 years now
My Availability
I am now teaching Monday to Friday but am continuing to tutor evenings and weekends snd school holidays

Seema has been working with my daughter for over a year now and she has achieved the impossible - she has made maths fun! My daughter looks forward to her lessons and because of this, her confidence with maths has grown immensely.
We call Seema her secret weapon - whenever she has a tricky sum which she can’t quite grasp, Seema is able to break it down for her and simplify in a way which just clicks.
We couldn’t fault her and couldn’t be without her!

Seema has been tutoring my 6‑year‑old for the past two years and has recently started working with my 4‑year‑old as well. Her sessions are always enjoyable, engaging, and perfectly pitched to each child’s level. She reinforces what they’re learning at school while also helping them grow in confidence. Both children genuinely look forward to their time with her, and we’ve seen such positive progress. Highly recommended.

Seema has been tutoring my son for nearly 2 years. My son has SEN: ADHD and ASD. Seema first started working with him during a very difficult time in our lives when my son was not permitted in school (aged 5) for over a year. Seema helped to make significant improvements in his reading, writing, and math skills. Additionally, she has been an amazing support to both myself and my son by listening and being there for us. Seema now also tutors my daughter. I highly recommend her. She is worth way more than her hourly rate. ✨

We highly recommend Seema School.
Seema instantly put my 7 year old at ease, he looks forward to seeing her each week. Phonics has become fun and Seema has built up my son’s confidence.
Seema is very friendly and adapts lessons to help with anything we need.

I couldn't rate Seema highly enough she is fantastic with our daughter who has sen needs. Our daughter has been having weekly tutoring by Seema for nearly 2 years now! The best part is that our daughter enjoys her learning lessons with Seema and she has progressed so well with her. I would 100% recommend Seema to anyone needing a tutor for their child. Her lesson is individual to our daughter & Seema picks up very quickly on the areas needing more focus.

My son has been tutored by Seema since year one, the increase his confidence and ability has been wonderful to see.
Seema takes the time to learn about the individual things my son enjoys and makes sure to incorporate them into his learning. This makes him feel excited to learn and eager to complete the work.

Seema is AMAZING! The thought and effort that goes into each of Seema’s lessons with both my children is incredible. They love Seema School and I love listening to their sessions, it’s beautiful to watch! I would highly recommend!!

We found Seema while searching for some writing support for my year 2 son. Seema has been wonderful, so energetic and positive. My little boy absolutely loves Seema school and his confidence has grown so much, he now writes for fun! I never thought he would be engaged in learning for an hour at his age but he’s absolutely absorbed by all the exciting activities, stickers and praise.. all based around his interests. Would 100% recommend.
