About Me

Hello, my name is Kerry and I'm so glad to connect with you. I wanted to share a little bit about myself and what makes me the best fit for your family.

First and foremost, I am a 48-year-old mother of two incredible teenage girls. Being a mother has taught me so much about love, patience, and the importance of nurturing a child's development. It's truly been a blessing.

For the past seven years, I've been working as a therapist, helping individuals find healing and growth. But alongside that, I've also been working as a part-time nanny and babysitter. I absolutely adore spending time with little ones and being actively involved in their lives. It brings me so much joy.

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to the latest family I've been working with. This is because Mum returned to work and needed more days than I can offer.. It has been an absolute privilege to witness the growth and development of their incredible children, who are now 15 months and nearly four years old. Being entrusted with the responsibility of being a caregiver and support system for these little ones has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and for being able to contribute to the well-being and happiness of this family.

Raising my own girls as a single mother has given me the ability to juggle the responsibilities of running a household while providing them with the love and attention they need to thrive. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been incredibly rewarding.

When it comes to caring for children, I believe in showing them love, understanding, and compassion. But I also understand the importance of setting boundaries. Children feel safe when they know the limits and expectations, and I strive to create that secure environment for them.

I've always had a natural connection with children. It's something that just comes from the heart. I want them to feel safe and content in my presence, building a bond that they can trust and rely on.

When it comes to my duties as a nanny, I am highly organised and efficient. I understand the importance of being reliable and punctual, as I want to create a sense of stability for both the children and their families. It's something I take pride in.

Working as a nanny gives me a sense of freedom and adventure. Every day is a new opportunity to embrace and create beautiful memories. Whether we're exploring the park, getting lost in a captivating book, or building a den in the garden, I believe in making every moment count.

Above all, my core focus is to ensure that children feel loved, happy, and secure. I believe that when they have these foundations, they can truly thrive. And of course, there will be plenty of fun and laughter along the way. Because life is meant to be enjoyed.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I hope that I can have the privilege of being a part of your family's journey.

My Experience

Currently, I work part-time as a RTT Therapist and Belief Coding Facilitator for myself. It is extremely rewarding knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of my clients, helping them heal and flourish.

Additionally, I have also had the privilege of working as a nanny and babysitter for several families. The opportunity to be a part of their lives and assist in the upbringing and care of their children has brought me immense joy and fulfillment. Being entrusted with such an important role in their families has been a rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the trust they have placed in me. Watching the children grow and thrive under my care has been truly heartwarming, and I feel fortunate to have been able to contribute to their development and well-being.

In the past, I have had the opportunity to work with vulnerable adults and children. One particular experience that holds a special place in my heart is my time working with SEN children in schools. Each child had their own unique educational needs, and it was my privilege to provide them with the care and support they required. Witnessing these children flourish when they received individualised attention and encouragement was truly remarkable. I will never forget the pure joy that radiated from their faces when they achieved something they never thought possible. It was a magical sight to behold – their smiles beaming, shoulders squared, and heads held high.
