I am a young at heart, energetic 52 year old and have two daughters, in their twenties who live at home with me. After years of office work, I decided I was better suited to being in a home environment with children, helping to care for and nurture them. I am a kind and caring, friendly, loyal and reliable person that would relish in helping you with your children and housekeeping.
My Experience
I have been a part time nanny to two amazing girls, aged 10 and 14 in Chislehurst for over a year and I'm now looking for a full time role. I do the school drop offs and pick ups, take them to after school activities and days out in the holidays. I have been teaching them how to safely navigate the roads and traffic as they gain their independence. I encourage the girls to be involved in cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the family, to learn life skills. We also play board games, cards, badminton etc and sing and laugh our way through our time together.
In addition, I have light housekeeping duties e.g. loading/unloading of the dishwasher, folding and ironing, meal planning and cooking.
Prior to this role, I was a nanny to a five year old boy, which included school pick ups, park trips, play dates, arts, crafts and day trips, which then evolved into full time childcare and home schooling during lockdown.
My Qualifications
No formal qualifications. Have brought up two children and two stepchildren, so have extensive experience as a mother. Have also looked after nieces, nephews and friends children for many years.
