About Me
Hello! My name is Amy, and I’m a friendly, caring, and responsible childcare provider based in Worcester and the surrounding areas. I have a real passion for supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development, and I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive.
I hold an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (Distinction), along with Diplomas in Psychology and Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing – both achieved at Distinction level. I’m also safeguarding certified (2025), have extensive first aid training through both my childcare work and time in a hospital setting, and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service.
I have a full UK driving licence, making me flexible for local drop-offs, pick-ups, and outings.
I’m due to start working in a secondary school, so my availability will be term-time evenings (6pm–10pm), weekends, and school holidays (subject to availability). I’m currently taking bookings for October half term, November, and December and would love to support more local families.
My Experience
I have many years of childcare experience, including 3 years working in a nursery and pre-school, where I cared for children from babies through to early years. During this time, I supported learning through play, planned engaging activities, and promoted children’s social and emotional development.
Alongside my nursery role, I’ve been babysitting since 2019 for a variety of families, as well as friends and relatives, caring for children of all ages and needs. This includes experience with special educational needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges, where I’ve developed a calm, patient, and understanding approach.
My time working in a hospital environment also strengthened my first aid knowledge and my ability to stay calm and confident under pressure. Across all my roles, I’ve built strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine love for helping children feel safe, happy, and supported.

My Availability
I’m available for evening babysitting during term time, typically between 6:00pm and 10:00pm, as well as weekends and school holidays (subject to availability).
I’m currently taking bookings for October half term, November, and December, and I’m happy to offer both one-off and regular childcare arrangements.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Evening babysitting (term time, 6:00pm–10:00pm): £12 per hour
Weekends & School holidays (subject to availability): £14 per hour

Not reliable. did not answer phone after agreed to come. No notifications for cancellation. That was very disappointing for me.
