I am a Fun, energetic, Passionate, Welsh speaking 21year old and love caring for children. I am able to speak both English and Welsh fluently. I have a level 3 childcare practitioner certificate and the extended diploma. I am currently studiyng childcare at Aberystwyth University from home and on the 3rd year of my degree and graduating in May. I am currently working as a nursery Supervisor in the Wrexham area.
My Experience
I have babysat for friends and family for many years. I have volunteered on residential camps in Glan Llyn with children between 8 and 15 years of age. My college placement was at a local primary school, working as a classroom assistant with 6 year old children for two days a week. For 3 years as a 16year old to 19 I have worked as an assistant with Messy Play in the Wrexham and Flintshire areas, this work involved supporting mums and babies during fun activity/party sessions. I have Previously worked in Penarlag school at the wrap around as a Nursery practitioner (3 and 4year olds) and a play worker at afterschool club and breakfast club as well as long days in holiday club (3 to 11 year olds). I now work in a Nursery setting in wrexham during term time (8:45am-5:30pm) (2 and 3 year olds) and now worked my way up to be the Nursery Supervisor.
My Qualifications
12 GCSE pass grades (A-C)
4 AS level pass grades (Business , Geography, First Language Welsh and Welsh baccaloriate)
Level 3 childcare practitioner certificate
Level 3 childcare extended diploma
working towards a childcare degree (graduating in May)
My Availability
At present I work at a Nursery in wrexham 4 days a week (8:45am-5:30pm during term time) and attend uni every thursday (9am-8pm during term time). I am willing to consider childcare work that fits around these times or on the weekend or during school holidays.
