About Me
A child at heart, with a passion for sports, dance and arts and crafts. I find it easy to develop activities to suit different children and weather. Even as a little girl I loved playing with dolls, pretending I was looking after children and toddlers like they were my own. I embraced every opportunity to occupy, look after and entertain families' children. Studying psychology I am interested in child development and human behaviour. When au pairing in Canada I was responsible for 2 children who had behavioural challenges, this was a challenging but very rewarding experience which gave me such a different perspective on my own behaviour as a child and teen. One of the now-teens I looked after in Canada keeps in touch with me regularly with her mother's endorsement and I am mentoring her through some challenging times. Her mother and I keep in regular contact. I believe that I connect with children and teenagers, and thoroughly enjoy doing so. I love animals, so if you have any that also need cared for or feeding I would do it happily!
My Experience
i coached gymnastics and trampolining for about 4/5 years back home in Northern Ireland at my gymnasium, which involved organising, engaging and encouraging a variety of kids, interacting and working with age groups ranging from 4-16 years. I spent two summers in Canada as an Au pair (2015) and (2017), working primarily with a group of 4 kids, ages 6,7 and 8. I also took up work experience in a playgroup when i was 17 for 2 weeks, it was the playgroup I actually went to when I was a toddler and I absolutely loved every second of it. I also had an offer to teach ballet at my dance studio back home but I moved here for my studies so I wasn't able to take this up sadly.

My Availability
I am a student at Stirling university, in my final year of study. I am happy to work my study hours around you. I am eager for work, especially in this area, so will happily come on short notice and have few commitments apart from study meaning I can drop most things to come and care for you. The time slots I have selected during the week are just a rough idea, I am up for negotiation for overnights mornings etc where needed!
