My Requirements

We are a friendly and professional family seeking an experienced, kind & flexible nanny to join our family on a permanent basis caring for our two children (aged 4 years and 1 year). We live in central Oxted, RH8. The majority of care is required for the family’s youngest child whilst the eldest child will attend nursery followed by school. A safe driver is preferred but not essential and we can provide a car for to use whilst on duty and a parking space can be provided. A NWOC would be considered.

?? Start date: As soon as available.

?? Core Hours: 30 - 40 hours Monday - Friday. Exact days and hours are negotiable and flexible to the nannies preference, but would be a mix of full days and wrap around care some days (7.30am start, 6.30pm finish).

With prior notice occasional flexibility on the core hours would be appreciated. We can also offer some overtime hours.

?? Salary: £15-17 gph dependent on qualifications and previous experience.

?? Duties: Primarily care of our youngest child (there will be times when both children are present, especially in school holidays), following established care routines, reading, planning & implementing a variety of fun, stimulating & educational activities, providing frequent opportunities for physical activity, exploration & socialisation such as trips to the local park or attending local organised children’s groups, nursery / school drop off/collection, all general nursery duties including tidying the children’s bedrooms & play room, children’s laundry, planning & preparing fresh & nutritious meals & snacks, ensuring that the areas where the children have played/eaten are tidy & organised at the end of each day, organisation & rotation of toys.

To be considered for this position:

?You must live and have the right to work in the UK.
?You must have an enhanced DBS on the Gov update system or be willing to apply for one immediately.
?You must have a minimum of two immediately contactable previous employer references.
?You must have an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to complete one.
?A formal childcare qualification is not mandatory, however, you must have at least 2 years’ professional experience of working with infants & children of similar ages.
