About Me
Hello,
I am a mum to 3 boys aged 11, 4 and 3. I live in a lovely big house close to the train station in Haworth with my chap Mark and our 3 boys.
I have a seperate playroom which is set up as a Montessori learning environment, a big child-friendly garden full of outdoor toys, gardening equipment, water and sand play etc where we learn and play throughout the day ( the playroom opens out to the enclosed garden and children can move freely, choosing where they work/ play as the door is open - unless it's really cold/wet).
My Experience
Ive just received OUTSTANDING from my ofsted inspection. I am a qualified Montessori Early Years teacher with over 12 years experience in teaching.
I have taught in Thailand, Cambodia, Italy, Switzerland, Wales and at a prestigious Montessori school for several years.
I provide bespoke education and childcare, catered around the children's interests which is when they learn best and absorb information effortlessly.
I offer an enriching environment following the Montessori curriculum as well as some Reggio, forest school and curiosity approach- all of which, helps to promote children's independence which is when they thrive and bloom.
My activities include: Practical life skills (learning to be independent), sensorial development, Maths, Science experiments, learning about the world through exploration, songs, drama and dance, baking, planting veg and herbs, playing in the mud kitchen and sandpit, loads of outdoor nature hunts and woodland walks, trips to the nearby park and playground, art work, celebrating festivals from around the world and much more.
I love working with children and believe that if children are given the opportunities to develop skills from a young age, then this enables them to develop self-esteem and helps to produce happy balanced young people.

Forest School leadership qualification (on hold due to Covid)
TEFL 120 hour teaching diploma
English literature A level

Scuba diving licence ( not at all relevant)
Btec National Diploma in Performing Arts
10 GCSE A*-C

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I offer funded places for 2,3,4 year olds
I charge a daily fee of £48 inclusive of home-cooked healthy food and snacks, trips, and groups
I'm open 7.30 am to 5pm.
Should you require different hours, this can be negotiated.
