Hello, my name is Karen, I am a 21 year old Black African British girl. I am fluent in English, french and Lingala. I am currently in my final year of university studying health and well-being. I am an outgoing and passionate individual who loves to try new things and explore my creativity. Once I graduate, I am to work as a child’s well-being practitioner as I have always been passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact to their mental healths and lives. One day I aspire to be a mother and I enjoy looking after my younger siblings and cousins as it enables me to bond with them on a personal level.

My Experience
I have previous experience in working in a nursery, I have been a baby sitter for the children from my church community aged 1-10 years old, I also have work experience working with young children on placement in a primary school. This involved me doing activities with them ( arts and crafts, cooking, playing games), taking them shopping, out for food, making them food, changing their nappies, taking them to and from school, reading them stories and ensuring that all their needs were met.
