My Summary

My Experience

I began babysitting in 2016 for various families with children of different ages. In 2017 I assisted the nursery teachers with running activities and supervising children at Hayden primary nursery. In 2018 I started as a student teaching assistant at Hollies day nursery from September to January. After this from 2019 to 2020 I assisted teaching and worked one to one with children with special needs in Carlton central primary school. In this job I also worked with children with delayed literacy helping with phonics and learning how to read or improve their literacy. In 2021 I also worked as an assistant in a childminders with children from ages 5 months old to 13 years old. While I was doing my childhood development and playwork degree at Leeds beckett University I worked in St Oswalds primary school as a 1:1 for children with special needs and behavioural difficulties. I also worked in the after school club at this school as a room leader, organising activities and snacks for the children. During my degree I also worked as a nanny for a couple different families, looking after babies including a 3 month old baby and a 6 month old, toddlers and children aged 5-10. Since graduating I have worked at an adventure playground as a lead play worker planning and running play sessions for children aged 5-15. I am currently working as an agency teaching assistant in a West Oaks SEN specialist school with children from ages 2-19. From all of my childcare experience I have developed the skills to responsibly and confidently care for and connect with children.

My Qualifications

I have a degree in childhood development and play work. I have a level 3 in Childcare and Education Qualification. I have an enhanced DBS check. I am first aid trained

My Availability

I’m looking for babysitting work in the days and evenings, I'm also looking for part time nannying 1 or 2 days. I am also looking for school holiday nannying. I can do ad hoc and regular and emergency last minute babysitting too as I am pretty flexible and willing to accommodate to your timetable and needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.21 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
