About Me
My name is Saria Elamin, I am 25 years old and I am going travelling at the end of July and was hoping to find some part time work to assist me with my travels. I have chosen child care as I feel comfortable in this role. I have 2 younger siblings myself, and due to the fact that my mother is a single mother, I feel I have helped raise them too. I would often have to stay in, and look after them. As a result, I am confident in my childcare abilities. I am very outgoing, which helps when working with children, I notice they tend to like my energetic attitude. Lastly, my hobbies include, reading, writing, drawing, and dancing!
My Experience
When looking at my previous experience, I have found I unintentionally, naturally tend to work in student/child related fields. I worked at Debate mate, a company that specialises in teaching young students how to debate, during my time at university. I have also worked at a saturday school, as a teachers assistant, that focused on teaching children arabic (which I am fluent in). I worked at an after school club called Kidactive, where I did many of the things required of me as a nanny. I picked up the children from school, we fed them once they got to the destination, and then I supervised/ played with them until it was time for pickup. Additionally, my current job is a student services manager at an international English language school called Oxford International Education and Travel. Needless to say, I feel I am qualified for this role, and more importantly, I feel I am comfortable at such roles, as I feel it comes naturally to me.
