My Experience

I have worked as an au pair in Spain, caring for 3 girls aged 2, 6 and 8. My responsibilities included cleaning, ironing, homework/English tutoring, going to the park or swimming pool, cooking and preparing packed lunches etc.

I have experience as an SEN teaching assistant in a primary school. I primarily worked with year 3 children and younger SEN children. More recently, I have worked as an administrator in a school for children with autism. I quite frequently interacted with the pupils when there were staff deficits in the fallout of the pandemic. It was important that these children were supported by familiar staff, which included myself. I learnt a lot from working with these children and in this environment.

I have often minded my goddaughter (now 3), and my nephews (also now 3 and 18 months) who I have intermittently lived with.

My Qualifications

First Aid at Work certificate from Siren (2021)
Undergrad: BA (hons) Asia Pacific Studies 2:1
A Level: Drama and theatre studies A, English literature B, classical civilisation B
11 GCSEs: 4As 4Bs 3Cs

My Availability

I am currently available most of the week. I work up to 16 hours a week at a cinema but I can schedule that around my childcare duties. I no longer have classes as it’s the third term but please note my dissertation research and assignments may affect my availability. I am willing to work on an ad hoc basis.

I am also willing to take your child(ren) on trips to museums/galleries/parks etc, provided their food and travel fares are provided.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)

Fees negotiable for the addition of general domestic chores such as laundry.
