About Me
We are a warm and welcoming family based in Huntingdon seeking a dependable, nurturing, and proactive afternoon nanny to care for our 4-year-old daughter. The role involves school pick-up, after-school activities, and full-day care during school holidays. You will have use of a family car for school collections and any local outings. We have a very friendly Golden Retriever.
My Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect our daughter from school in Cambridge at 3:30pm
• Provide a safe and engaging environment after school
• Prepare healthy snacks and child’s dinner when required
• Supervise and assist with homework
• Organise age-appropriate activities and outings
• Facilitate attendance at extracurricular classes
• Provide full-day care during school holidays, planning enriching activities and outings
• Keep play and communal areas tidy and organised
• Tidy up after the child and encourage good habits around tidying
• Occasionally walking the dog
• Be flexible to assist in emergencies and occasional later working hours when needed
Requirements:
• Proven experience in childcare, preferably with early years
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Non-smoker
• Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
• Tidy and organised, with a proactive approach to household tasks related to the child
