My Experience

I have been working with kids in a professional capacity since 2016. I started off volunteering at my local church every week for the holiday club, youth clubs and crèche group there and I continue to volunteer and enjoy working with the kids who we welcome into church. I am currently employed at home by ‘Kidzania’ which is an educational, children’s “amusement center” which means I interact with children in a professional capacity and I enjoy doing so! I currently am also employed at home by a local childminder and have assisted her in childminding/babysitting duties, often meaning I am tasked with the responsibility of looking after more than one young child at a time - often taking them to the park, changing nappies, feeding them, putting them down for naps, keeping the house clean and tidy, engaging in fun activities and playtime amongst many other things. I also have volunteered at holiday camps for kids for in both England and America: in England, I volunteered at an ‘outreach youth camp’ where the kids were aged from 8-15 years old and in America, I worked for ‘Camp America’ and was placed in charge of a group of around 10 young children (ranging from 5-11 years old). At both camps, I supervised (and joined in, of course!) the many fun and adventurous activities (such as zip-lining, water games and arts & crafts) of which the kids had the chance to get involved with. I also am a very experienced swimmer and am very responsible as a leader; I am very sensible and I have had an high level of safeguarding training. I believe myself to be an extremely capable worker: I am a very positive person, my time management is very good and I also would say I am very caring. I absolutely love working with kids and I would be very passionate about the job, bringing a great level of education but also entertainment and fun to the role! I also am a very clean and healthy person and, given the current situation, will make sure that I am abiding by all current government rules and regulations when going about my day to day life. I also am a registered lifeguard.

My Availability

I’m available anytime I’m needed! I volunteer at a youth club on Tuesday nights but other than that I’m fully flexible.
