My Requirements
I am looking to employ a support worker to provide 1:1 support, at home and on trips out, for our 17 year old daughter who, though verbal, has moderate learning difficulties and autistic type traits around behaviour and communication. We live in the Fishponds area of Bristol.
I am looking for someone who would feel confident taking our daughter out and about. Person to be available during summer holidays too if possible, but not essential.
Experience of working with children with special needs essential, as is owning a car.
4 hour shift on alternate weekend mornings 10-2pm. Saturday morning preferred but days can be flexible and extra hours can be negotiated.
Rate of pay £10.90 (gross) per hour, as dictated by Direct Payments from the LA. Extra money will be provided for petrol.
