My Summary

My Experience

I have worked in the childcare industry for nearly 6 years. My most recent role was as an Early Years Educator which I have been doing for 4 years. This role has been extremely rewarding and has taught me a great deal about the childcare practitioner I am today.
I am fully trained in the EYFS framework and am always looking for exciting new ways to help children reach their development milestones. I have implemented many behavioural strategies within my role that have resulted in positive behavioural outcomes with the children.
The children I have cared for range from 6 months to 10 years old. I also work with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) children and I am currently completing an online course to better my knowledge in this role.
I regularly help with hygiene routines such as toileting and self care and have successfully encouraged and supported independent toileting with children in my care.
Outdoor play is essential for well rounded development and I love running with them, getting involved and having fun.
In my role I have also done and been in charge of school runs, trips down to Brighton, museums and farms and many more.

I have an extremely positive, friendly and strong relationship with all of the parents I work alongside. This has resulted in babysitting for several families of the children I care for.
I am looking to broaden my horizon for my next role but also continue to pursue my passion of childcare by becoming a nanny.
I can’t wait to meet a lovely new family and start my new role.
