About Me
I am a mum of a 9 year old girl. I studied Social Work and Social Mediation. I have SVQ-3 in Adult care, and studying SVQ in Childcare. However I did different trainings about early years education. I like to keep up with my knowledge about children by reading books and following people who are experts in this field. I hold a paediatric Firs Aid. I am a member of the Scottish childminder Association. I have always been interested in learning about alternative ways of education like Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, and Reggio Emilia. I am interested in Steiner education and willing to do the teacher Steiner education course.
I am an open person, flexible, hard-working, positive, and reliable person. I love to go to the woods with my daughter and connect with nature and wildlife. We love to identify trees, flowers, birds... enjoying fresh air and just being in contact with nature. I love homemade food and bake my own bread every day. I like practising yoga, meditation, and dance. My daughter loves following me. We enjoy doing crafts, painting, baking, and singing. We also like telling stories. We spend most of our time outdoors in our garden, even with the snow! We have a big playhouse, swing, and slide. We built our own mud kitchen, and we made space in our garden to make a sand pit.
Lola, our dog, is part of our family. She loves kids and likes to play with them by bringing a stick to them to throw.
We want to make a workbench so the kids can create more and more!!
We speak English and Spanish!
Since October 2021, I am teaching Flamenco every Friday at Alba Flamenca in Edinburgh from 4pm.
We will love to set up our own Spanish playgroup in the South of Edinburgh!
I am open from 7 am till 1/2 pm Monday to Friday.
My Experience
I worked as a entertainer in Hotels in Spain, being the team leader. Also I worked in after school care in different schools. I worked as a dance teacher with children and adult people. I have been in the care sector for over 5 years. I looked after children of different ages in my own home before became a registered childminder.
I have experience caring young people with special needs.
My Qualifications
Degree in Social Work. Certificate on Social Mediation. SVQ-3 in Adult people. Paediatric First Aid.
