About Me

I am a 25 years old registered childminder working alongside my mother in our home setting. My mother has 12 years experience with being a childminder as well as experience working with nurseries. I have 3 years experience as a childminder and also have experience working in nurseries as well as working in a school in the learning support department. I always try and encourage children to grow and learn at their own pace, I enjoy doing all sorts of activities such as singing and dancing, dress up, and especially arts and crafts and baking. I feel it is important to make them feel safe and loved and offer a home from home like environment. I always make sure that children have outside activities planned I.e going to the park, walks by the river and playgroups so they can interact with other children to help develop good social skills. I help children with their development and their early learning so that they are ready for when they move on to school. I always ensure to work with parents to provide consistent care which coincides with how the parents bring up their children at home. I’ll be keeping up to date with all training to provide the best possible care for children as well as providing a loving and caring, safe environment.
