About Me

I am a nanny in Frome. I love my job and consider it a privilege to play a part in childrens' lives. I'm very attentive, nurturing, positive, creative, engaged and committed. I believe in being child led, spending time outside, open ended play, natural materials where possible, sensory play, stories and songs, craft and really observing children to really cater and respond to their individual needs. I have worked within education for the past ten years. I have two children of my own, who are 1 and 4.

My Experience

I have an education background as well as a creative one which really helps me to deliver fun and engaging activities for children which supports their development and learning. I initially taught in secondary schools, a college and now focusing on the early years. I am very interested in, and always learning about, brain development and the fundamental needs of children in the early years.

My Qualifications

I am in the process of becoming an Ofsted registered nanny with all the qualifications that requires. I am only waiting on my DBS now which I submitted in May.
