About Me
We're a young little family of four: my husband Matthias, our two little kids: a little boy Charlie (3 years' old) and girl Joanne (1,5 years' old), and myself, Aurélie. Both Matthias and myself are full time working (Matthias as a film director, and myself as an in-house lawyer). We are originally from Belgium and we live in Deptford, South-east London, quite close to Greenwich. We speak English, French and Dutch (and a tiny bit of Spanish). In our free time, we love to travel, to discover new areas and try out new restaurants both in London and abroad, doing sports such as tennis, swimming, yoga and skiing.
My Requirements
We're looking for an after-school nanny, ideally French-speaking, to pick up our kids from nursery. In total we'd need +- 20 hours a week. Charlie needs to be picked up at 3:30pm from Blackheath Prep School and Joanne around 5:30pm from Alpha Nurseries (Plumbridge Street in Greenwich). We live in Deptford, between Deptford Bridge station and Deptford Highstreet and have an electric cargo bike should you wish to use this for the pick-ups. You can go to playgrounds, kids' activites, or just go back home where the kids can play a bit. We have a big terrace so it’s possible to play outside or inside the flat. We’re also expecting the nanny to prepare the kids for bedtime (bath, pj’s, prepare and serve dinner) so that they are ready for bed when we come home around 7pm, or if we come home earlier, can have dinner together. Additionally, it would be very helpful if the nanny could help us with the laundry and/or ironing for the kids.
We live on the 3rd floor without elevator. So, we're basically looking for someone who is fit and strong enough to carry a child while climbing the stairs, but also someone who is cautious, reliable, and is willing to go that extra mile to make life easier for us. We'd like someone with a EHBO training for kids.
Additionally, we're always on the look for babysitters in the evening when we go out. Thanks!
