Hi, my name is Sarah I am 56 years old and am a N.N.E.B. qualified Nursey Nurse. I love exploring the great outdoors and am so grateful to live in this beautiful part of the world. I enjoy singing, drama a variety of crafts, photography taking part in various fundraising events and generally keeping myself fit. I love dogs, (but sadly lost ours earlier this year) I am honest, hardworking, loyal and trustworthy and above all I won't let you down.
My Experience
I qualified as a Nursery Nurse back in 1984 and since then have worked as a Live in and Live out Nanny, in this country and aboard . I became a registered Childminder when I my son was born in 1998, so have looked after children from birth. I have helped run a local Brownie Pack as well as helping with Holiday Play Schemes and a Junior Choir. In recent times I have run my own retail business, a nursery store selling prams, car seats, nursery furniture and everyday essentials for new parents. I closed the business (which I had run successfully for 10 years) as I was wanting to take on a part time role that was back where my passion lies, looking after children. In fact I don't see it as a job I see it more as a vocation, I have and always will enjoy my time looking after our precious little ones. I love getting totally absorbed in the family life of those in my charge and enjoy going on wild adventures expanding their imagination and knowledge safely through play. Helping them to gain confidence and appreciate the world around them. I am fun loving but at the same time I can be firm if and when needed. I am very passionate about childcare and would love to help you and your little ones to reach their full potential through a 100% loving, caring environment.
