About Me
Hi, my name is Ellie and I provide babysitting in my spare time. I am 30 years old and I live in Westcliff-on-Sea. I work for a London Borough Council as a Special Educational Needs & Disability Advisor. I have eleven years of experience working with children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. I am an Auntie to two beautiful twins born in 2022, and regularly look after the babies to support my sister. I am available for babysitting in the evenings and weekends.
My Experience
I worked in a special school as a Learning Support Assistant for three years, supporting Nursery-aged children, through to Post-16 young people. I also spent three months working at an American holiday camp for children with special needs. I currently work 9-5 Mon-Fri advising families on special educational needs and disabilities. I work closely with multiple families who have children with complex needs. I am also a trainee Counsellor. I have worked in a variety of Caring roles including: Personal Assistant for a child with ADHD and Autism, Personal Assistant for a young person with Down's Syndrome, Support Worker in a residential home for adults with disabilities, Home Help for older people living in the community, and I have volunteered in a variety of settings including a kitchen for refugees and asylum seekers. I pride myself on being organised, caring, and reliable.
